Ghost Integration
Connect your Ghost blog to WinSearch and publish AI-optimized posts using the Ghost Admin API.
Prerequisites
- Ghost 4.0 or higher
- Admin access to your Ghost site
- WinSearch account with CMS integration enabled
1Create Custom Integration
- Log in to your Ghost admin panel
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click + Add custom integration
- Name it "WinSearch"
- Copy the Admin API Key
2Connect in WinSearch
- Open WinSearch and go to Settings → Integrations
- Click Add Ghost Site
- Enter your Ghost site URL (e.g.,
https://yourblog.com) - Paste your Admin API Key
- Click Connect
Important: The Admin API key format is id:secret. Make sure you copy the complete key including the colon.
3Configure Publishing Options
Set your default publishing preferences:
- Default status: Draft or Published
- Default author: Select from your Ghost users
- Default tag: Optional tag for WinSearch content
Publishing Content
When you publish from WinSearch to Ghost:
- Title and content are synced
- Meta description is added (for SEO)
- Featured images are uploaded
- Tags and authors are assigned
Troubleshooting
Connection fails?
- Ensure your Ghost site URL is correct and accessible
- Verify the API key is from an Admin integration, not Content
- Check that your Ghost version supports the Admin API
